Overview: The Computational Design program aims to provide a comprehensive, transdisciplinary understanding of parametric design and an in-depth understanding of cutting-edge technologies in the fields of parametric architecture, digital manufacturing, and 3D printing, as applied to the construction and building sectors. The program will be organized around the following three main areas: - Art, Design, and Digital Culture - Structure, Architecture, and Complex Geometries - Digital Manufacturing Program: Advanced Data-Driven Modeling Parametric Design: Complex Geometries and Optimization Management and Design of Complex Geometries Structural Design Algorithmic Optimization Performance-Based Architecture 3D Printing and Materials Science Digital Prototyping and Fabrication of the Final Project
